Everyday's a photo shoot

Since Eli started walking, it's mostly been too cold to be outside, but since the weather was so nice this weekend, Josh and I spent some time with Eli outside in the yard to practice his walking skills. Poor child can't enjoy any of his time without Mom turning it into a photo shoot... I'm always afraid I will miss the perfect picture... anyway, here are some of the pics.

Weekend in North Carolina

This last weekend we took a tript to North Carolina to visit Josh's parents and we had a great time. On Sunday night we went on a tour of the Biltmore House in Asheville. I was a little stressed on how Eli would do through the tour but he was great. I was very proud.. Here are a few picks from the weekend.

One of Ei's tricks when you ask him to show you his toungue:)

Here we are outside the Biltmore. Unfortunately, they wouldn't let you takes pictures inside and strangely the front of the house isn't lit up after dark.

Eli rides around the driveway with Grandpap

We also go to see Josh's baby cousin Gwen for the first time. She is 3 months old and slept through our whole visit:)

It's about time

I feel horrible that it has taken me this long to post Eli's birthday pics. . I had great intentions on posting one of his pics from the hospital on his birthday morning but he woke up with a 102 fever that day and was sick the entire Thanksgiving weekend so I am just now getting to it.

On Wednesday November 22, 2005 all 9 pound, 6 ounces of Elijah Finley Puckett was born.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving, we had a birthday party at our house. We had so much family there, I felt so blessed and actually teared up when we sang happy birthday. I can't believe my baby is one year old.

Here is Eli's Itsy Bitsy Spider cake, that I am proud to say, I made myself. (Eli had his own cupcake to eat)

The classic cake-in-the-face

Here is Eli with all his toys(including a tricycle from The Scoggins:)
